Should parents send their children to other countries to study at colleges and universities? Discuss and give your own opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevent examples from your own knowledge or experirence

In these days, some people hold different views about whether children should be sent to other foreign nations to study for a higher education. Personally, I believe that parents had better allow their offring to study abroad. In this essay, I will discuss two views and examine some reasons in order to support my views.

On the one hand, studying in their own countries can be taken into consideration due to its advantages. The biggest benefit is that students don’t need any adaption because of the familiar environmental lifestyle as well as asmosphere which seriously cause culture shock. Next, there is no concern about financial problems. It is true that the cost of living such as accommodation, food, bills,… is almost cheaper than ones in other countries.

On the other hand, there are numerous reasons why it is crucial for children in order to study overseas. Firstly, they can reach higher academic qualifications when studying abroad due to high education system, Oxford, Harvard, Cambridge,.. for example. As a result, they can easily find a well – paid job after graduation. In addition, going abroad to sudy allows children to make friend with other people from all over the world that creates a great opportunaty in order to widen knowledge about other countries’ cultures and the way of living.

In conclusion, while going to school in learner’s home country could bring some benefits, I believe that children should be allowed to study abroad for their better future.
