Help me with feedback on my paragraph

Original paragraph

The first area I want to discuss is that using ABA techniques can help to reduce or change unwanted behaviors. This is done by either teaching a replacement behavior or shaping the behavior. When I address the area of behavior, this does not apply to strictly to "bad" behavior, but any type of behavior that requires work, or a change. When a child's behavior becomes less obvious and intrusive, he will become more successful in school, at home and in the community.

"The main goal, of course is to replace negative behaviors with positive ones to improve functioning in the family and in the community. However, there are other benefits to be gained from behavior therapy.

Reversing negative patterns of thinking, and addressing bad habits Appropriately dealing with stress and frustrations Participating positively in a variety of activities Setting goals to replace negative patterns of behavior with positive ones Increase in self-esteem Improved performance at school, at home and in social situations" (My Child Without Limits)

Revised Paragraph

The first area I want to discuss is that the usage of ABA techniques can help to reduce or change unwanted behaviors. This is done by either teaching a replacement behavior or shaping the current behavior. When I address the area of behavior, this does not apply strictly to “bad” behavior, but any type of behavior that requires work, or a change. A few examples would be, non-compliance, hand flapping, and having a limited range of interest. When replacing or shaping behaviors, this will almost always produce increased stress and anxiety, which is also addressed during this time. When a child’s behavior becomes less obvious and intrusive, and they are able to keep themselves calm and make good choices, they will be more successful in school, at home, and in the community. The main goal, of course is to replace negative behaviors with positive ones to improve functioning in the family and in the community. However, there are other benefits to be gained from behavior therapy. Reversing negative patterns of thinking, participating positively in a variety of activities, and increase self-esteem, (My Child Without Limits) to name a few.
