Help me understand the narrator

Can you please help me

I've already spent an hour trying to find out what the narrator is saying at
2:18


My variant was
frenny circle, pie salvational is circumference to its diameter

but this doesn't make any sense for me, and besides
google doesn't know any ""frenny circles" and "pie salvations"

It's a pretty hard piece to understand though, even as a native speaker. I'm glad that fivejedjon could work out 'is the ratio of' because I couldn't and I even played the recording a few times.

I had to play it several times before I got it. I am sure that if I did not know a little about what pi is, I would not have got it.
