Hi, I moved to England with my parents last year from France and have just started a new job. I got my first pay on Friday and I had to pay tax but I thought I would not be taxed as I am starting in December and so won't earn enough money this year to be over the amount you have to pay tax for. I use this tax tool to see and it says I pay no tax so why they take £126 in my payslip? I think I dont understand the English tax.
