there is diffuclt for me about following sentence.Could you help me to make it easy to understand?
Since the laws of physics,not some arbitrary decision,have determined the general form of applied-art objects,they follow basic patterns,somuch so that functional forms can vary only within certain limits.
At the least,these scientific advances may offer a way of screening parents who might be at risk of transmitting a single-gene defect to any children that they conceive.
