help me to solve this question!
Do you think Albert deserved to be appointed director?
(A) I felt he was dismissed prematurely.
(B) He said he'll seek the appointment,
(C) His popularity was never in question.
(D) As much as anyone else around here.
the answer is (d) but (c) also sounds Ok to me. Can anybody explain why (c) is not a proper answer??
