00I am writing to you to apply for the Master of Science in Banking and Finance. 02br

00Though I hold my degree in Computer Science, my aim is to work in an international Bank related to Finance and Investments. Therefore I would like to gain theoretical and practical knowledge in Banking and Finance in a multicultural context. I believe a University with high reputation like HEC–Lausanne and Its highly knowledgeable faculty members – Alessandro Beber, Jean-Pierre Danthine, Michael Rockinger is the best place to achieve my career objectives. 02br

00I hold a four years Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North South University. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in December 2003. Besides my studies, I started my career as a part-time investment consultant on 1996. Since, I am very much interested about finance and investment, I picked “Forecasting of Stock Price” as my final thesis. In the thesis, I tried to integrate business forecasting models – ARIMA, Time-series Decomposition with computer generated regression analysis. After my graduation, I devoted my full time on investment consulting. I registered on Meenhar Securities Ltd., Vanik Bangladesh Ltd. and Vanguard Securities Ltd. for trade through the stock exchanges. 02br

00The ambitions I have exposed to you would not be true without a solid theoretical background and a strong real world experience specialized in the banking and finance. I am deeply confident that HEC-Lausanne is one of the best places for learning banking and finance. Switzerland is very much well known for her Banks and financial institutions and I want to learn from the leader to fulfill my ambitions. 02br
