Help me to analyse this sentence's structure please!

"He traveled throughout Europe showing his photograph."

In this sentence above, I assume that the phrase "showing his photograph" functions like an adjective phrase to support for the sentence "He traveled throughout Europe" acting like a noun phrase ? Is that wrong? Please help me out.

No. That's a participle clause. It contains a secondary predication about the subject "he".

He traveled throughout Europe, and while he did that, he also showed his photograph.
