Health care system is believed to be beneficial to the society. People say that non-profit medical system should be run all around the world because of its advantages, while some keep a belief in mind that this system is inferior to the private one. In my point of view, the disadvantages are overshadowed by the advantages.

The free medical program brings many upsides to people, particularly the poor. The primary benefit is that the patients pay nothing for seeing a doctor. To those who live below the poverty line, paying for high treatment costs is impossible; therefore, this program gives them opportunities to examine their well-being and cure their diseases. Moreover, citizens also have an access to the health system, thereby broadening their horizons in terms of wellness. Such knowledge would suggest a balanced diet and raise people’s awareness of health protection. As a recent study, the fitness of poorer elements of society and their life expectancy have been more likely to enhance through the non-profit medical programs.

However, the expenditure for maintaining and the quality of this system are the obvious drawbacks. First of all, the price of facilities and the salary for doctors are high-cost and they might be a burden on the budget of national state or institutions. For that, the tax would be predicted to increase if there are more free systems like this. Besides, the quality of the equipment is said to be not as good as one of the private healthcare. Because running these programs wastes a great deal of money, so these equipment are usually the used ones with being cheaper than the modern ones.

In conclusion, free medical service contains not only benefits for the poor but its own problems also, particularly the financial ones for the country. Nevertheless, this service should be encouraged and maintained to help the community have a healthy fitness.
