The maps illustrate an industrial area in Norbiton in the present day compared with plans for future development of the site.

There are numerous differences between the two constructions as the old and the upcoming one in Norbiton.

Looking from an overall perspective, there is an expansion in the equipment and appearance of new social facilities. There are also changes in the position.

As it can be seen in the first picture. The industrial area is filled with many juxtaposed factories going around the center. On the northside, the river flows near the farmland and across the whole industrial area which is already to turn into a new citizen living form.

With the new structure building strategy, everything will be replaced by a form of shelter-based. The whole factory area will be rebuilt for housing to take place. It is also surrounded by many essential community equipment such as a playground and school. Another changing trait is about the interruption caused by the road to the farmland.
