For school children,their teacher has more influence on their intelligence and social development than their parents .

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that school children are at an impressionable age,and two strong influences on their intelligence and social development are both teachers and parents . While accepting the vital role of teaching staffs,I reckon that parents probably exert a greater influence on the development of children .

It is without disputed that teachers make a great contribute to encourage intellectual development of school children.They are trained not only to impart their knowledge of the subject areas in challenging and imaginative ways but also to tailor teaching styles suitable for all of levels. Moreover, every kids need the champion , teacher, who supports and allows them interact with other by showing the ways to start a conversation or establish a relationship naturally .For example, children's social circle can be enhanced as well as disciplines from school can be followed by putting them into extra-curriculum courses or outdoor activities .

However, I argue that parents are mainly responsible for guiding children on right track . Parents who have grasp knowledge of their children's personality is can provide nourishing environment for them . Some evidences revealed that with a child is prone to active and sociable , the parent can support and supply a creative and colorful atmostphere to become self-development by their own volution. In terms of social development,there is undeniable that parents are able to become real role models in a whole range of situations .These might include showing respect toward elders , choice of friends or proper behaviors in public.

By the way of conclusion, the role of parents and teachers are indispensable for the development of children.I remain the view that parental effects on raising kids are stronger than the other.
