2) what is the different between awaiting and waiting.

3) cleanliness satisfied. is this correct?.

Perhaps. But my guess is that they are going for brevity and succinctness.

Personally, I find it all a bit silly. But, when I saw your comment (and I have always admired your responses) I delved further and noticed that I had made a mistake. I had written that OK was the correct usage but both The New York Times and Strunk & White (4th Edition) actually say that O.K. is correct. The Econo

cleanliness or neatness or tidiness was or is or ... satisfactory.
