This is the 2nd time I ask for help on this matter. I've reviwed the letter a couple of times, but I do not feel secure about it. So, again, can someone correct it for me? Or just point some errors? Or give some tips? Thank you very much for any help.
The initiative “Your First Job Abroad” 2007 is an excellent opportunity to carry out a project I have keeping in mind for a few years. To work abroad is a challenge I want to embrace for a long time. The possibility of develop a professional experience and learn new ways of living, new cultures, and new languages, isn't, to my mind, an opportunity to miss.
I have not participated in academic exchange programmes, but as I am daughter of emigrants, I always was in touch with many European countries. To be exposed to new cultures interests me and pleases me. Beyond the obvious professional reasons, also social and cultural reasons have promoted with regularity some trips. I have been, without any specific order, in many European countries, such as: Spain, France, England, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Finland. Since from some years that an experience of international work defines itself with stronger contours each day.
I was focus on improve my curriculum through professional training and increasing the experience onto my professional area. Learning and improving my language skills was also a constant concern mainly devoted to English and French. As I have been unemployed, I was some periods in Finland and also in Norway. In both countries I established professional contacts that had disclosed unfruitful due to lack of domain of the local languages. Even though I have been seduced by the Nordic countries. Therefore, the next issue will be to learn a Nordic language. A chance in one of these countries had to advocate this new step.
I have remained myself aware and I regularly visit the site of the EURES expecting to find a chance. I established contact with EURES's council members, both in Portugal and in Finland.
Once I appreciate challenges and I consider myself able and, as much as capable, extremely motivated, this initiative will be an excellent ground “to live” the experience. For the accomplishment of this international chance, I believe to possess the essential adjectives: professional, dynamic, autonomous, independent, social and dedicated.
I wait with expectation the announcement of the results and I deeply desire to reach the professional and cultural enrichment that this initiative provides.
