As well as making money, businesses also have social responsibilities. To what extent do you agree or dis agree?

Businesses play an integral part with the development of a nation as well as economy in general. That is why instead of generating profits, it is necessary that firms should responsible for community. From my perspective, I totally agree with such a view.

On the one hand, the fundamental goal of businesses is money-making that is very critical in society. Firstly, the more money enterprises make, the more taxes the government receives. Hence, these revenues are invested into infrastructure, social facilities, such as hospitals, schools, recreational places and so forth in which guarantee to enhance the standard of lives to the citizen. Secondly, a high profit contribute to expand business models and create plenty of opportunities for residents, such as give more employment prospects and reduce over-population in specific areas because of looking for a better life.

On the other hand, having a responsibility for community is essential for each business. In particular, the increasingly global temperature is one of the consequences of several factories are doing disposal of waste, the emission of greenhouse gases and so on. Under these circumstances, these firms should take charge of their activities and treat the environment well to save the fresh atmosphere. In addition, participating in some charitable aids is also a benefit for the reputation of the business, from those benevolent activities might attract the customers and result in generating profits.

To conclude, I personally believe that companies should place as much important on their social responsibilities as they do on financial objectives
