Help me formulate a sentence

A company makes our company a collaboration proposal. In order to decide whether this proposal is worth accepting - as we are not very clear on their plan, or how they think the collaboration should work and want to know their viewpoint on the matter in order to make a decision ie accept or reject the proposal - I want to ask this other company this question on behalf of my firm, but I am having a hard time formulating the question.

Can I say: "We would like to know how you think this collaboration should work/be organised" ?

Sorry for the lengthy post but I would very much appreciate it if you could reply.
