help me fix this

I am writing to let you know that back in November I had applied for some Daycare classes. I wasn’t sure if I qualified to get in, as of January 12 I got a letter stating I got in and I will be starting classes soon. Unfornatly classes are on Tuesdays from 5 pm till 8 pm for about 3 months, and I cannot lose out on this opportunity. So starting Tuesday Feb 1st I will have to leave work at 4 pm. I decide to take this step to better and secure my children’s future.
