Help me figure these out.

Hi,
I have a few questions here.
First, if the word noise is pluralized i.e. noises means sound, is it right?I heard a lady say, " The contestants' focus were disrupted by your noises".
Second, do attitude, behaviour, decorum, disposition and trait mean the same and can they be used inetrchangeably in a sentence?

Top answer

e. I heard a lady say, " The contestants' focus were disrupted by your noises". -- We would usually use the singular in this sentence, but the plural is possible if various different kinds of noises were being emitted.

  • -- We would usually use the singular in this sentence, but the plural is possible if various different kinds of noises were being emitted.
  • -- They are all related but certainly not synonymous, and a few could be used interchangeably in a few contexts.
