Help me correct this writing task 2
Some people think that all teenagers should be required to do unpaid work in their free time to help the local community. They believe this would benefit both the individual teenager and society as a whole. Do you agree or disagree?

It is argued that all young people should be required to spend their free time on doing work without salary as a means or supporting the local neighborhood. While I agree that it could bring some certain benefits to the individual teenager and society, I do not agree that it is a perfect way to use young workforce.
There are several reasons why I believe that doing work for free when teenagers have free time useful for both themselves and the community. On the individual level, such volunteers might have more opportunities to gain valuable life skills which can help them to enter much more easily today's competitive job market. For example, their communication skills are usually better than those of people at the same age who spend most of their time studying. In fact, people who do unpaid job in their free time have higher possibility of passing interviews from their first application into a company. From the social perspective, local expenses for public services can be reduced substantially because of free young workforce. Instead of hiring people to do things such as watering flowers along sidewalks, local authorities can spend money on more important things like building public facilities.
On the other hand, those arguments given above can be considered from the opposite angle. Some particular young people find it hard to benefit from using their valuable free time for voluntary works. Those youngsters tend to have their own lifetime plan to pursue so they do not want anything irrelevant to interfere in. Moreover, young workforce are likely to be incompetent to ensure the work quality. Rather than saving money due to free volunteers, local communities might have to spend more on repairing what young people have done.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that voluntary things should be an option and not a compulsory thing for teenagers.

Volunteering for young people has its benefits and disadvantages. Should younger people spend their free time on their phones all day long or should they be participating in a volunteering event. Some examples of volunteering include visiting homes for elderly, taking part on flag days, helping in hospitals.
