As a result, on 15th and 20th every month, the club’s members get together and order meals at a prestigious catering service. Then they bring the meals to the site to distribute to poor people. “500 servings is not a considerable number; however, those who receive them are really glad. We came up with the idea to charge 2,000 VND per serving, not for free because we don’t want receivers to feel ashamed” shared a club’s member – Nguyen Anh Hung.

With the fund donated in the past few years, the club’s members assured that the program would endure till the end of 2012, but the program is now in need of contribution from entire society.

Sharing The Life has been established since 2008 and grown from several founding members to a 50-strong club not including 100 collaborators. They are all young people. The club chairman is Van Huu Long, who is now studying abroad in Singapore and keeping directing the club over the Internet. He frequently appeals to people in Singapore for donate money to the club’s voluntary fund.
