help me choose

I am filling out a form that asks me for my ethnic origin. Which one do I choose? I am orginally from India.

1) Asian/PAcific Islander/ Indian subcontinent

2) Caucasian

3)Hispanic

4)African-American/Black

5) Other

Is it the first one - Asian or I choose the 5th option?

If your ethnic origin is Indian, then 1 would be appropriate. Why do you think 'other' may be more appropriate - is your family background not from India? 5) would also be a good choice if you are of a mixed ethnic background.
