The two pie charts compare the consumption of different energy sources in France in 1995 and 2005. The each energy production divided by the total is plotted as a percentage.

Overall, the energy from Coal, Gas and Petro are more times higher than the energy from Nuclear and the other. Additionally, while the energy from the Coal, Gas, Nuclear and the other increase, the energy from the Petro decreases in each 10-year interval.

In1995, the total of the energy productions from Coal, Gas and Petro is 88.7% and the energy productions from Nuclear and the other is 11.3%. In 2005, the total of the energy productions from Coal, Gas and Petro is 80.79% and the energy productions from Nuclear and the other is 19.21%. The pattern was quite similar between these two different years; the largest difference was in the percentage of energy from Petro. While the percentage of energy from Coal, Gas, Nuclear and the other increase 1.13%, 0.68%, 3.7% and 4.2%, respectively, the proportion of energy from Petro decreases 9.72%
