The older generations tend to have very traditional ideas about how people should live, think and behave. However, some people believe that these ideas are not helpful in preparing younger generations for modern life.To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?

It is obvious that the elder are likely to hold conventional ideas towards how the young should lead their lives, their perspectives and behaviors. However, these advices are considered to be helpless concerning modern lifestyle. In my view,i partly agree with this statement and explanations are as follows

On the one hand,it is reasonable for the young not to side with elder citizens due to gap generation. The older generations used to live in a stricted, biased society and be confronted with a great many prejudices, they, therefore, are apparently more reserved, conservative than young energetic ones. To illustrate, girls in the past were nutures to be gentle, emotional,by the same token,if they were slightly different from others, then would be seen as a"weird",naughty ones

One the other hand, conventional perceptions of the old should also be taken into account when it comes to their wide knowledge and hands-on experience. As yong generation is mostly brought up in sheltered condition, they tend to encounter misfortunes without thorough preparation on reaching adulthood. Hence, because the old -experienced beings who underwent up and downs in life, they are capable of giving young adults advice to make more informed decisions. This is irrefutably true regarding business industry. The older the employer is,the more skillful he is

On the final note, young generation nowadays choose a free-style life which is far more different from old ones. Thus some sound advices from predecessors may not fully taken in. However, it's doesn't necessarily mean that every suggestions aren't worth considering
