Some universities offer online courses as an alternative to classes delivered on campus. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Over the past few years, there has been a growing recognition of the proposal of e-learning programs as an option to replace traditional classroom at many colleges. However, I totally do not agree with this development.

There are a number of reasons why teaching orthodox brings several advantages. First, it creates an opportunity for all students to regular face-to-face contact with their teachers in the classroom. In a such direct condition, some pupils who have troubles with their lecture are able to promptly solve own problems at the same time. Second, the significance of interaction and rivalry with classmates in an educational environment is an important factor in the progress of this teaching methodology. Plenty of evidence have suggested that a schoolchild would absolutely feel satisfied with their current results without any thought of effort if the impact from surroundings does not exist. Finally, this influential power also contributes as great stimuli for scholastic success.

In conclusion, for reasons mentioned above, although comes at a cost to some extent, it seems to me that the possible benefits still outweigh the potential negative.
