Topic: Some people think that children should begin their formal education at a very early age. Some think they should begin at 7 years old at least. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

As education for children is more and more concerned, some think that children should pursue formal education as soon as possible, while others argue that the best option for pupils is to let them attend schools at least at the age of 7. While the former is true, I believe that the latter opinion is more reasonable.

On the one hand, pursuing formal education at an early age means that children are laying the foundation of intellectual experience for themselves. Attending curriculum at school, pupils have chances to be tutored on how to obtain basic and advanced skills, such as critical thinking or decision-making. This may help them to graduate in a better and earlier way, compared to others who start later, and also to seek jobs easier because of the certificates and skills they have.

On the other hand, I want to emphasize that attending formal education at seven years old at least is more beneficial for children. Some pupils studying at the age of 5 or 6 tend to concentrate only on schooling and their lessons or assignments; therefore, they cannot thrive comprehensively. They may lose contact with their friends from childhood, which cause them to contract some problems relating to mental health. Moreover, from one to six years old is the length of time needed for children to get assistance from parents to identify their essential characteristics, attributes, or abilities.

To conclude, while it is true that children having early education is good, I think that a better way that is to let them begin formal education after seven years old also needs to be taken into consideration.
