Topic: Nowadays in many countries more and more people are spending their time away from their families. Why is this? What are the effects on themselves and on their families?

In today's society, people seem to spend their time with families as less as possible. There are several reasons for this, and the influences on themselves and their families are considerable.

There are two main contributors to this. First of all, it can be seen that more and more people are able to land high-paid jobs based on their formal qualifications and hands-on experience. That those jobs require employees to spend most of their time at work leads them to the impossibility of having quality family time with their family members. Moreover, those who experienced the lack of parents' supervision or witnessed parent's conflict and breakup during childhood, especially the youths, tend to appreciate other relationships rather than family bonds because of the effects their parents made on their minds. For instance, whose parents were divorced is prone to experience troubled adolescent trauma and look for and spend their time with other social relationships.

Lack of family time has certain impacts on people themselves as well as their families. It is evident that the less time they spend with family, the less successful their personal development will be. Having achieved any goals they have set, the only thing they cannot have is family ties, and that fact, when they realize, will have an adverse bearing on their emotional development. In addition, their families are also affected. When they spend less time in gathering meetings or family events, their relatives will possibly underestimate them and also ignore their existence in family-blood system. It not only hurts them but also has emotional damage to family members and relatives.

To conclude, the fact that many people tend to spend their time away from families has several compelling causes and effects as well.
