It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.

Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

There is a common belief that only individuals that have inborn talents could gain remarkable achievements in specific fields. On the other hand, many support the idea that everyone can be successful musicians or sportsman through practice. This essay will elaborated these point of views and draw some conclusions.

It is undeniable that people who are born with talents can obtain proficiency in singing, drawing, playing instruments or sports with little effort. Almost every greatest human being from artists to scientists and sportsman show outstanding abilities in their chilhood. For example, Mozzart was able to play piano when he was just a three year old boy. At the age of six, while his friends played hike and seek he spent the whole day sitting in front of the piano writing his very first excellent music.

However, just because someone has prodigious ability in certain fields does not mean they will reach success effortlessly. Although not being born with exceptional talents to become singer or athlete, it is still possible to gain experience in such fields through constant practice. Take Leonardo da Vinci as an example, although he was regarded as a genius at young age but he still practiced drawing eggs day by day to complete his lining skill.

To conclude, it is not impossible to be a talented artist or sportsman as long as they receive proper teaching methods and constantly practice. However this does not mean inborn talents do not matter, while these outstanding people can acquire proficiency in certain fields without much determination.
