Jim Owens is an official in his company. so he knows how many workers the company will need in the future, how many people will be hired or fired. .
"even more jobs may go" means that the company will not hire people, and some people will lose their jobs because the company does not have work for them to do.. "even more" means "more than we planned" or "more than expected".
