"i usually have a shower" . I don't know exactly about the meaning of this question .I know this is a stupid question. but because my english is too bad. Thank for a major help

Here's an example.
Person A: Do your prefer a bath or a shower?
Person B: I usually have a shower.

Instead of 'have', we sometimes say 'take'.
