W: What's your soup of the day?
M: French onion, ma'am.
W:
(a) I'll have the soup and salad then.
(b) I'd rather have a vegetarian dish.
(c) Thank you. It looks very delicious.
(d) In that case, I'll have the soup.

I know the answer is (d)...

could (a) be a possble answer??? thinking over, (a) sounds ok to me....
