I have a little difficulty with undestandind the underlined part of the following dialog:

- I need to check online and see if I can find anything? In the mean time, can you check on Jennifer and how Harisson died?
- Yeah, I'll check on her when I go in.

It sounds to me like the second speaker will be seeing how Jennifer is doing when he gets back to the police station where both speakers work. Obviously, I don't know whether the context allows this interpretation, but that's the first thing that I thought of when I read those sentences.

More context would help. It sounds like what a person would say if he were outside the house - doing yard work, parking the car, smoking a cigarette. He's talking to someone, possibly on a cell phone, who wants him to get some information, possibly on the internet. He needs to go inside the house to do it.
