He decided to use different and strange ways to help him. Despite having a lot of people believed Rommel couldn’t do it.

SUMMARY:

In one opportunity a Mildred Green Elementary School’s teacher wanted to know some abilities from his new students, he decided to gave them a strange homework, they had to prepare a report about “what flavor would you want to be if you will be an ice cream”.

When he started to read the reports, he was worry about a blank piece of paper, there weren’t any information in it. He wanted to know who wasn’t done his report.

It could be a very difficult work, there were many children in his classroom and the cafeteria was full of people. Finally, he could find him. He was Rommel Sales.

Apparently, Rommel looked well, the teacher believed that he couldn’t have any problems, despite trying to obtain some information about him, he asked him some question about Rommel’s live, his hobbies, what did he does in his last vacation. Little by little he tried to gain Rommel’s confidence, he wanted to know if he could read or not.

The teacher proved Rommel’s abilities from read. He gave to him a book, this book was very easy to read there weren’t any complicated words, and it could be to read for beginner readers. Rommel felt afraid of this, he took the book, when he opened it, he could recognize the first word, but after that he couldn’t understand anything. Rommel tried to give some excuses about that. He was good at drawing Japanese’s cartoons but it wasn’t enough. It was a dramatically situation for him because he didn’t know what he should be from Rommel.

After long time, he continued teaching at the same school. He worked hard for obtain a certificate from a very important University in Michigan whereas the students was improving his self. All of them had done it except Rommel.

He couldn’t believed it, nobody pay attention at Rommel’s problem. He had a meeting with a teacher, he reached a stupid conclusion about him, he can’t read, that’s all. Whereas his classmates were reading or writing he was doing anything else.

He believed that he was a clever guy, because he didn’t have any problem about learn math.

Rommel could understand the plots of books that the teacher read for his students to improve their reader’s abilities. Rommel participated in the speeches and he lived the story that the teacher tells them.

After that, he took an important decision. He put a plan for helps him into practice. He used different methodologies to teach to him. Even though, he didn’t receive compensate for do it, they shared few minutes by day together reading an interesting and amazing book, Harry Potter.

His methodology to teach him was so funny. The teacher started to read whatever line from the book and Rommel had to recognize a specific word, it was “OFF”. If he couldn’t do it, he would receive a punishment, a soft pinch. If he identified the word the teacher could continue telling him the story.

Before long weeks, in spite of practice a lot, Rommel couldn’t learn to read. He felt disappointed and guilty about it. But the true was that the system had responsibility because they didn’t do anything to resolve it.

Rommel’s teacher likes so much to read. He had a lot of different kinds of books in his small apartment. He gave to him a special gift, a VCR tape and a book, that maybe helps Rommel to do it his extra job.

In this opportunity they spend more hours together until Rommel could read. They worked hard and took the responsibility until they could obtain at good result. The teacher encouraged him to introduce his self into the amazing literature’s world.

He tough him since the elemental things, how he had to pronounce each letter until he could recognize all of them. Rommel, like good draftsman, he was able to create an ingenious system that could help him to remember his lesson. He used some picture for each one letter, if he couldn’t remember one, he would check it on the wall.

Before a hard work and a long time, Rommel started to read in front some classmates and the woman that believed he never could do it. He can read whatever kind of literature and he enjoys doing it. Don’t stop him now.

For the rest, Kela, I'm going to give you hints (in blue), so that you can try to improve things yourself. (A repeated problem is your use of indefinite pronouns--for instance, writing 'he' when the reader doesn't know which person 'he' refers to.

Rommel described himself as a boy

I should add, Kela, that, despite all the blue marks, this is good writing for someone in the process of learning English as a second language. Look at me, I can only write in one language. Keep going. You are making a fine effort, and the mistakes above are common ones.
