John,

When I bought my computer I asked to be insured against theft and damages at a cost of 150 dollars annually. The guarantee starts on the day of your purchase. My case is special. I exchanged my computer 2 weeks later for a new one as it wasn't working. I year went by and 2 weeks before my insurance coverage my laptop was due to expire, my computer broke. I made an insurance claim only to find out that my insurance coverage had lapsed 2 weeks prior claiming that the insurance coverage started when I bought my first computer not when I went in to get it exchanged. Long story short, I never got my computer repaired. Is there anything I can do?

Regards

I know what you mean, but premium is better than cost to describe what you paid for the insurance. Good luck!
