Try mandatory or necessary.

Thanks T****, sorry your name is encoded with something else I can't read on my computer. Mandatory sounds close to what I need, the ideal choice should contain a sense of giving-in is what I'm looking for, thanks again, any others? -Terr

How about "unavoidable" or "inescapable"?

Oooh. Can I vote for inescapable?

Hi Khoff and GG,

'inescapable' sounds good, now how about this:

'exercise is the unbearable yet inescapable path for every health person', i swaped the second phrase to 'unbearable' to shorten the sentence while same meaning is kept. How is it? Thanks- Terr

Well, I find "unbearable" to be FAR too stong. I don't really enjoy exercising, but to call it unbearable is not right. And a lot of people -- bless them! -- actually enjoy it.
