Is there any problem with this paragraph:

According to Joe's perception, one must put his family first, at all costs.
Joe ignores his guilty of giving the order to shift cracked head cylinders to the army, an act resulted in the death of 21 pilots. He compensates his conscience by thinking if he had not had do so, his own business would collapse and he would not be able to take care of his family.
