Help here :)

Which one is correct? Does the "to" relate to the both verbs or only to the first one?

1] I prefer to sleep through the noon and ingore the horrible heat.

2] I prefer to sleep through the noon and TO ingore the horrible heat.

"ignore", not "ingore"!!! And I think you mean "sleep until noon" or sleep through till noon". You can repeat the infinitive particle "to" or not.

Is the following what you mean?

1) I prefer to continue sleeping through noon and avoid the horrible heat.

--------( Note: here is no 'the' before 'noon')

2) I prefer to continue sleeping during midday to avoid the horrible heat.

-------( you can substitute 'midday" for 'noon'; they mean the same.)
