Q 1 do you think there would be significant benefit to increasing the bandwidth available? And how much would it cost?
Yes, there would be. But the current bandwidth is sufficient for the office and residence users. If some users play movie, game, video conference etc, it would appear to be slow for other users. If so, then it would be sensible to double the existing bandwidth.
Q 2. do you think the shared capacity between the office and residences is working?
If shared, it would be good for residence users as there are less users (5 workstations) in the office and get full bandwidth when office close (Saturday, Sunday and Bank holiday etc.). If splited (two lines – one each for the office and residence), I think it would be more expensive to do this work (cable, wiring, buying additional devices), and decrease Internet speed.
