HELP FOR EMAIL

Want to know you understand the sentiment and what Im trying ti say?

I work with a wedding planner as I am a photographer. The wedding planer calls me from time to time when he has a client that's interested in my work supposedly.

I want to write this to someone, may you clear up what I'm saying and find suitable words? Wary is correct if you talk about the planner sending email?

I'm always wary of the wedding planner and what he thinks of my work. When he emails me with a job, I don't know if it's because I'm cheap that their clients want to hire me because clients are on a tight budget or if it's because the clients like my work. I know the wedding planner wouldn't propose my work to someone with a big budget. So when he emails me to tell me a client likes my work, I don't know if he's turned to me because he has very little money to work with or if he proposes my services to all his clients and when he calls me, the clients really like my work. I ask myself whether the wedding planner calls me because he likes my work or because he has a budget to work with.

ps

a client ask me question and I need to reply something like, whats better or wrong, client is in america.
