Help for an apology letter, (they're threatening to sue me :(
Dear Ms. Winston:
The purpose of this is to convey to you my sincere apologies for any inconvenience you may have experienced with respect to the breach of confidentiality.
I previous to your request had made my blog private, I thought my personal blog was private/permission only.
Because of this serious oversight, I am ensuring you it would not happen in the future.I deeply regretted that it is my mistake. I sincerely apologize that this will not happen again. I will be more diligent in scanning my public posts next time and exercise extra precaution to filter out such mails so that this sort of thing will not happen again.
Once again, I hoped for your leniency in this incident.

I was venting on my blog about how horrible things were, and how they were lieing to everyone. Oh dear. I think your best bet is to go and get a lawyer to help you as soon as possible. I don't think an apology letter would be a good idea under the circumstances as it may affect any future court case.
