Help for a paragraph 2

I am applying for an internship position and in the form they ask me to describe my volunteer experiences...

I wrote that paragraph but I don't know if it is correct...can someone read it and give me suggestions and tips?

I have had years of experience in voluntary work since I volunteered in -----, where I currently hold an administrative role. As elected member of executive committee of ------, from september 2009 up to the present, my main duties are:

- the organization of fund raising events once or twice evey year

- the researched of financial contribution from public budget and private donors (eg. I contibuted to the writing of a project to implement our activities in a poor area of the city)

- the contacts with local authorities (eg. Municipalities) and with local associations.

For the same association I have been a non-formal educator from september 2006 to august 2008. Working with a team of 2-3 people, my main duties as educator were:

- planning and implementing weekly activities for groups of 20-25 young people aged 12 to 16

- participating in national and local training sessions

- Planning and implementing camps of 3-10 days for group of 30-60 young people aged 8 to 19. The planning covered both the logistical and educational aspects of the activities.

In december 2009 I helped to raise funds for Christmas fund-raising campaign of Italian NGO .-----.

In september 2004 I took part in a working camp of 5 days at Juvenile Prison ------- Rome (Italy). The main activities where the sharing and support activity with the prisoners and the meeting with experts of italian minority justice system.

Because of the small size of ------ association section in ----and my current coordinating role I have had the opportunity to learn how to handle complex situations, giving the right priority to my duties and being responsible (for?) of my actions. Lastly, in the framework of -----local activities, I volunteered several times in soup kitchen and in old people’s home.
