Help ending an email

Hello everyone

I'm wondering how to end an email to my advisor. We had conversation the other day and I think he didn't get "why" I mention X subject. In other words, I just want to make my intention clear to him.

Can I send him the facts that I want him to know and then conclude with:
I'm writhing this to share info with you.

??
Or

I just want to share that and to be aware of it.

??
Please help me.

Many thanks,
Soso

I don't think either is appropriate. Just start with Dear Dr XX, I'm not sure that I made myself clear the other day about why I mentioned Z. Here is what I intended to say: Sincerely yours,
