help edit please

Hi teachers,

Could you possibly edit the following for me?:

a/ Alice : Have you seen Jack recently/lately?
Mary Emotion: surpriseh, I haven't seen him since long

b/ Jack :Mary, Have you come back to your home village recently/lately?
Mary: Oh, I have been very busy nowadays, so I haven;t come back to my home village since long. I will try to come back next year.

Hi.
'since long' doesn't work at all. To use 'since' you need to specify a time e.g. 'since last year' or 'since yesterday'.

To use 'long' to show an unspecified but lengthy time, you have to say 'for a long time'.
