Help: 'dream of'

Hi All,
Sorry. English is my 3rd language. I want to use 'dream of' in my sentence. Is it usually use with 'ever'? 'ever dream of'?
Example:
It's for the kids to see favorite stars that they ever dream of.

Is it right or wrong? Kindly please advice.
