Help ! Does anyone here heard about Professional Project?

Hello, I'm here again with questions.
During the application process, I need to submit what is named "Professional Project"
The description of it is as below:

You can start by doing the following:

Personal Project: Faux Air

After I graduate, I plan to blah blah blah.

Discuss technical stuff (activities/ experience/responsbilities). You might need more than one paragaraph.

Discuss non technical stuff (country, culture)

Summarize it.

Only you know what you want to say.

Hi MountainHiker:
To think about the format of the project is a difficult thing, in my understanding, it should be simple but clear. however, I still got some samples in long and emotional style, beginning wish " I was born in ***,....I have a dream to *** when I was 5 years Old...."
then next paragraph to talk about what he/she learn already and what to learn in future; then turn to what kind of job he/she will do and where to go, "because of old parents and I should contribute to my motherland.......I must go back to china" or some other things like these

It's in french so I didn't post for your reference. Anyway, I don't like this troublesome style. Mine is as below:

After graduation, I prefer to be involved in production area, where I could apply the knowledge and practical experience. The general work areas are as described as below:

2) Oversea Production Transfer: production lines transfer and rebuild
b) In Mass production Control and Management
1) Production process quality control and improvement
2) Production cost control:

2) New business negotiation support as a production engineer

2. Country: Back to China
a) Apply my knowledge in China:
nowadays, more and more European companies invest in China
to build new production line for mass production because of the more high-educated graduates and lower local labor cost. The production lines transfer, building, control, and management will be one of the first-grade important things, which is I'm interested in, and where I can apply my knowledge.
b) To be with my familiar and my boyfriend together after my study.
1) My boyfriend will come back to China after his study in Austria. We prefer to strive together.
2) My parents contributed a lot for my life and study. They are no longer young as before, and I must go back after graduation to take care them

3 Company style:
Company style I prefer is for electronic products production, so that I could:
1) To realize the mass manufacture of products based on the knowledge on electronics
2) To design and control the production line automatically
3) To make production more efficient and less cost
French company in China or joint company between France and Company or Chinese company trading with French company, where I could:
1) Utilize multi-language to build proper cooperation between French and local government and workers
2) To handle international business with other oversea companies

3. Position: Production Manager
a. Production engineer at beginning:
3) To learn more details in practical work about the method to control and improve production line
4) To command the general skills of management based on the acquaintance of the process
b. Production manager finally:
1) To manage production engineer work on the production line build, maintain, improve and other related misuses.
2) To contribute in the negotiation in the aspects of production ability and cost.

4. Else:

Still it's over 1 page with the words in size 12. I feel it's clear, but a little complex. However the most important thing I wanna know is if the format u feel suitable to be as a PROFESSIONAL PROJECT!

Hi,

You wrote in your first message that it is 2500 characters maximum. Do you mean characters "a" "b" "c" etc., or do you mean "words". It would be very odd to stipulate characters. If it is 2500 characters, you will have a very short essay.

Assuming it is 2500 words, you will have a 5-6 page single spaced essay or about 10 pages double spaced. That is a major effort.

Let's work with the assumption that it is words (very good assumption). You will have a major project to complete. Unfortunately, I won't be able to provide the same level of support that I have to your letter. A 10 page double spaced essay is a lot of work.

I have no idea what a professional project should or should not include. So you must use your best judgement.

Try to get your outline as detailed as possible because that will make the writing process easier.

1) Major heading.
-->A) Minor Heading
--------> i) Major Point
--------------->a) Minor Point
---------------------->Detailed note

Feel free to come back and continue to ask questions, but I honestly cannot spend several hours on a frequent basis going through a ten page essay. So if you have difficulty with a sentence or paragraph or something else, then no problem. But going through a ten page essay in detail is a lot of work.

Perhaps one of the others that help in this forum might be willing to help more.
