Help: do I use an article here or not?

In our learning portal, do we ask students to:

do "Exercise: Story Time".
or

do the "Exercise: Story Time"?
We're not sure if we really have to use a definite article here or not.

Given the way you've punctuated it, "the" is not correct. These are correct:

The second one seems preferable to me.
