The familiar tune of “Here comes the bride” started playing and all the sudden, the ewes and awes stopped, it got completely silent. The walk down the aisle looked like a red carpet stroll for Rachel as she made her way to the stage, I mean altar. Dress: stunning, Price: 4,000, neckline: halter, silhouette: ball gown, designer: Vera Wang, diamond studded Prada shoes, with earrings to match made for a flawless ensemble. The man who loved her first, her father, showing visible pain, as if his very heart was being ripped out of his chest, gave his daughter away. Paparazzi like camera flashes were non-stop after the ceremony began. Faces filled with tissues, smiles or both, anxiously anticipated the part where the preacher says those four climaxing words “I now pronounce you”. It happened, Rachel’s last name changed, time for the after party!
