Help at writing an email

Hi everyone,

I want to send my resume to my advisor. I should provide it earlier but since we met I didn't have the chance to send it. So, I want him to have a look at it, although he didn't ask. I don't know what to say!

I think I should send this earlier! Attached my CV.
Or
Please have a look at my CV..

I'm confused!!
