Help! About Preposition~~

My student's teacher in school provided questions as such that really boggles me.. Please help.

1. He ran as fast as I could ____________ catch the bus. ( A list of prepositions is provided but "to" is not available, may i know if there is an alternative preposition except "to")

2. The water is so warm that we could jump in and go for a swim. Let's wait __________ __________ we eat though. (I would put "beside" and "until" for the blanks)

(May i know is my answers are correct? Any alternative answers?)

3. The reference section is located __________ the fiction section, ______________ the second floor, directly _____________ the kids' section on the first floor of the library.

(My suggested answers are , "under", "on", and "opposite")

Hope to receive kind replies soon.

Thanks.
