Help 2...

He looked at the picture as if he was, in his mind, comparing a newer dated picture which was drawn by a great mastery, with an older dated picture which was drawn by a master method with brave colours

Is it correct for grammar?

I would use the subjunctive mood in the second verb.- as if he were

"by a great mastery" - not correct. Either say "by a great master" or "with great mastery"
"master method" is not right. "drawn by a master using brave colors" or "drawn masterfully with a palette of brave colors"
also, "newer dated" and "older dated" - the word "dated"
