Help!!
I do not know if the commas in the following sentence would be grammatically correct or if i don't need them and should just split it into separate sentences.
"Though events such as war would not be deemed as necessary to notice what we are missing, they are often the events that remind us to appreciate the life we have had so far , and to continue striving for improvement."
Any help would be greatly appreciated
