Help

I cant believe she would do that to him.


I know thins sentence is correct. Is there any other verb other than 'believe' that can be used with 'would' in order to express surprise or believe is the only verb that we can use with would to express surprise?

I can't believe she would do that to him. "imagine" fits and has a similar meaning. A number of other verbs would fit with varying shades of meaning, such as "accept", "think", "conceive".
